Our ambition to see avoidable blindness eliminated can only be realised by working together to deliver high quality, evidence-based eye care to everyone. We are building an ecosystem that enables partners, large or small, to use our solutions and for us to learn from the best in the field.
Peek provides unique global expertise in sustainable eye health services. We work with national governments via Memorandum of Agreements (MOA). Each MOA commits Peek to providing consultancy in programme design, technology configuration and deployment. Under the MOA, Peek provides a service commitment for impact to the programme in return for a fixed amount of funding.
Peek creates and delivers high quality sustainable eye health services. We work with carefully selected eye and health non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to help deliver the highest quality programs and services. We connect all areas of the care pathway while measuring and reporting. We work together to continuously learn and improve the services we provide.
There are thousands of smaller projects and programs going on globally that could benefit from using Peek. While we create services for Governments and NGOs, we sometimes identify bespoke solutions that could be used to improve smaller independent projects. We work closely with the marketplace to identify needs and deliver smaller products or services to meet these needs.
Evidence is the backbone of everything we do at Peek. Having a deep understanding of where our technology and solutions help and add value is important. Developing tools that work and are based on evidence is important. We work with a number of academic and research institutions to help us gather evidence and understanding.
The Trust have been Peek’s biggest supporters with a grant made to grow the project in 2014 as part of the Commonwealth Eye Health Consortium and further support in 2016 to enable Peek to scale its impact. The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust is a charitable foundation with a mission to leave a lasting legacy, owned by the whole Commonwealth, in honour of Her Majesty The Queen.
Seeing is Believing is Standard Chartered Bank’s global community investment programme to tackle avoidable blindness. For more than a decade, they have helped over 100 million people in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America tackle avoidable blindness and visual impairment and have supported Peek programmes in Kenya, Botswana and India, as well as strategic support to Peek HQ.
